Watched SG-1's "Threshold" (5x02) a few days ago. The framework of the episode is a bit sloppy, but the flashback's and the story they tell? I think it's some of the best and most effective writing I've seen on this show. It puts so much of Teal'c and Bra'tac into context in maybe twenty minutes worth of material.
